My plan was too make a ring with a spiral

Dont have any finished photos did go through kiln 

Dont have firing ticket

First I rolled a coil. Then flattened it out and made the design. Then put it through the kiln.

This piece was not my favorite piece to make. It would have turned out better if I did a few things differently like making the design pop out instead of going in.

Face

My plan was to make a curious face

Don't have any finished photos because I didn't like how the mouth looked when I put it on so I discarded it.

Don't have a firing ticket.

I started out making this piece by making the ball of clay. Then I shaped the nose by pinching it together and carving out the nostrils. Then push thumbs into the head to make the eye sockets. Then added eyeballs by making equal-sized balls and putting them in. Then made eyelids and eyebrows.

I really enjoyed making this piece since it was my first piece. I thought I didn't do too badly on it. If I made it again I probably would have started with more clay because as you can see I don't have room for the mouth or a big enough head.

Useful slab

My plan was to make a coaster that had a kind of spiderweb on it.

Don't have any finished photos or progress because it was cracking too much on the back so I didn't keep it.

First I grabbed clay from outside and then took it to the slab maker. I rolled my slab then went back to my table. Before carving into it I planned out my design. Then started carving into it,

If I was to remake this piece I would have done a few things differently. Ex: Get better clay, and use a ruler to make my designs. I like how the middle design turned out. But I don't like the outside much its very uneven. And maybe do something more abstract.
